The Kintoki kennel has been an established breeding kennel for the Japanese Shiba Inu for many years - in fact one of the longest in the UK. Our Shiba breeding stock comes from some of the most beautiful animals originally imported into the United Kingdom. We have never deviated from the original lines, which we considered to be of excellent quality. Of course, there were faults within the lines in the early days, but after selective breeding and considered out-crossing, we now produce shibas of a definite 'kintoki' type.
Never let it be said that the Shiba Inu breeding stock is anything other than pure Japanese as the original stock was imported from Japan, via America.
